Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced associate for its Litigation Practice Area in Worcester, MA. The full-time role supports attorneys through all stages of litigation, from inception through discovery and trial, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in office.

The candidate will draft pleadings and briefs, manage discovery, participate in depositions and trials, and provide client updates while contributing to training for junior staff.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; additional state admissions are a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and proofreading ability.
• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence with accuracy.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including motions, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare, review, and analyze discovery productions to identify key documents.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, provide legal advice and status updates.
• Research case law, statutes, and regulations affecting clients.
