Job summary

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. in Tempe, AZ seeks an Associate Attorney to join our nationwide creditor rights team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, well organized, and able to manage a substantial caseload while delivering ethical, effective representation.

The base salary ranges from $105,000 to $125,000 per year, with additional bonus eligibility. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, appearing at hearings, and maintaining client and firm procedures.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in Arizona.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage a large caseload and work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, etc., in active litigation.
• Support and organize litigation files and pleadings; determine proper action.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements to protect client interests.
• Utilize internal software to update and document account status.
• Analyze litigation inventories and reports to ensure proper workflow.
• Maintain compliance with laws and procedures.
• Travel to various courthouses as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
