Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Biloxi, Mississippi seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to manage a diverse consumer protection caseload, including transactional and civil litigation matters, with remote communications to the New York City HQ.

The ideal candidate is admitted in Mississippi with at least 1 year of experience, strong writing and oral skills, and a commitment to ethics. Core duties include drafting pleadings, client communications, and in-depth legal research.

Qualifications

• Mississippi bar admission required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload in Mississippi.
• Communicate with clients regarding matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and review agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as required.
