Jobot in Denver is seeking a talented Lateral Associate Attorney to join our Construction Litigation practice. You will work on complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced team serving a diverse client base in the construction and insurance industries.

We require a JD from an accredited law school and a Colorado Bar license, with 3–8 years of civil litigation experience; strong writing, research, and trial preparation skills.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, preferably construction, general liability, or insurance defense.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment.

Job Description

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar license (or ability to waive in)
• 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for construction, general liability, or insurance defense
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet annual billable requirement of 1,800 hours (150 hours per month)
