Job Details

Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
4. Provide legal advice to clients on potential litigation risks and strategies.
5. Coordinate with legal support teams to ensure efficient case management.
6. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in laws and regulations related to the construction industry and litigation practices.
8. Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve skills and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on trial work.
4. Proven experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation cases from start to finish.
7. Strong negotiation and client management skills.
8. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
