Very Law, a sophisticated downtown Pittsburgh law firm, seeks a Pennsylvania‑licensed Associate Attorney to join our practice and participate in a robust training program aimed at eventually owning your own practice.

This role emphasizes culture, teamwork, and balance while delivering exceptional results for clients; you will build lasting relationships and be supported and respected in your work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience privately practicing litigation.
• Pennsylvania law license.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Westlaw.
• Strong communication skills — with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• A tenacious advocate with a practical, solutions‑focused approach and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from intake to resolution across multiple practice areas under the supervision of the owner of the firm.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, advocating for them zealously, and advising them with honesty and empathy.
• Develop and execute case strategies based on sound legal research and analysis.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff without unnecessary hierarchy.
• Participate in marketing and networking opportunities that align with your practice goals.
