Very Law, a sophisticated downtown Pittsburgh firm, seeks a Pennsylvania-licensed Associate Attorney to join our practice. This foundational role supports a robust training program and aims to develop ownership in clients’ success while balancing culture, teamwork, and high‑quality advocacy.

You will build lasting client relationships, work autonomously under leadership, and contribute to a collaborative environment that values respect and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience privately practicing litigation.
• Pennsylvania law license.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Westlaw.
• Strong communication skills — with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• A tenacious advocate with a practical, solutions-focused approach and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from intake to resolution across multiple practice areas under the supervision of the owner of the firm.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, advocating for them zealously, and advising them with honesty and empathy.
• Develop and execute case strategies based on sound legal research and analysis.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff without unnecessary hierarchy.
• Participate in marketing and networking opportunities that align with your practice goals.
