This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 1-5years of experience who is looking for hands-on legal work, direct client interaction, and a genuine work-life balance.

The firm serves businesses, municipalities, and individuals throughout the region and offers broad exposure to business law, municipal law, and estate planning/administration matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ties to Southwestern Pennsylvania—or an interest in relocating to the area—who wants to build a long-term legal career in a collaborative environment.

Highlights
  • 1,200 annual billable hour target
  • Base salary of $85,000–$140,000, depending on experience
  • Additional commission and origination opportunities
  • Direct client contact and courtroom exposure early in your career
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, FSA, and 401(k) with employer match
  • Low cost of living and strong quality of life
  • Located approximately 90 minutes from Pittsburgh
Responsibilities
  • Handle matters related to business law, municipal law, and estate planning
  • Draft legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and prepare recommendations for clients and senior attorneys
  • Attend court proceedings and assist with litigation matters
  • Meet directly with clients and help manage ongoing legal matters
  • Maintain case files and manage deadlines
  • Support senior attorneys while developing your own client relationships and legal expertise
Required
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or planning to sit for the Pennsylvania Bar
  • Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Willingness to work on-site in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Preferred
  • Interest or experience in business law, municipal law, or estate planning
  • Previous legal internship, clerkship, or attorney experience
  • Connections to the region or a desire to build a career in Southwestern Pennsylvania
Ideal Background

This role is a strong fit for an attorney who wants broad exposure across multiple practice areas rather than a highly specialized practice. The firm provides meaningful responsibility, mentorship, and client interaction from the outset, making it an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking to accelerate their development while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
