Job summary

Wood PLC is seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our Operations Americas team in Hampton, NJ, on site. You will interact with clients and suppliers, coordinate orders, and manage aftermarket parts and services for power and industrial boilers.

You will support procurement activities, RFQ development, vendor selection, and PO execution, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with RFQs, vendor selection, and PO execution.

Responsibilities

• Support Aftermarket Parts team from inquiry to delivery of small to mid-size materials.
• Develop and issue RFQs to approved vendors; evaluate quotations based on cost, lead time, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare purchase orders aligned with RFQs and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of requested parts.
• Coordinate logistics and prepare all necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Assist with tracking, logging, and other administrative tasks to support departmental operations as needed.
• Ensure all activities comply with departmental procedures and contribute to the profitability of the Aftermarket Parts team.
