Job summary

QXO is seeking an outside sales/account management professional to grow an assigned book of customers, drive wallet-share expansion, and ensure client retention. You will partner with branch operations to deliver exceptional service and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include regular customer visits, onboarding, and pursuing new opportunities through referrals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of outside sales or account management experience.
• Experience in building materials, construction, wholesale distribution, or related industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and support account growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned book of existing customers through wallet share expansion and relationship development.
• Execute account plans focused on customer retention, service excellence, and incremental growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits, job-site meetings, and check-ins to understand customer needs and support ongoing projects.
• Partner with branch operations, inside sales, and customer support teams to deliver high-quality customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to transition acquired customers into managed accounts.
• Travel regularly within the territory to support customer relationships.
