Job summary

ATA in Jackson, Tennessee, is seeking a Tax Associate to join the Tax department. You will prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities as part of a collaborative, detail-oriented team in a full-time role.

You will work with senior professionals on planning strategies, projections, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines and delivering high-quality work for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification or candidacy is a plus.
• Proven understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Assist in the preparation of tax projections and planning strategies for clients.
• Support senior tax professionals in managing end-to-end client engagements.

About The Role
