Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) seeks a mid to senior-level attorney for its Surety & Fidelity team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of commercial litigation experience with significant federal and state court practice in NY/NJ.

Surety, construction litigation, or insurance coverage experience is a plus. Essential functions include handling all phases of litigation, advocating before courts and arbitrators, and developing cost-effective strategies.

_Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”) is seeking a mid to senior-level attorney to join our Surety & Fidelity team in our New Jersey office. The ideal candidate for this role is a commercial litigator with 6+ years of experience, with significant experience litigating in the federal and state courts of both New York and New Jersey. Experience with surety, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage matters is a plus.Essential functions:Manage all phases of litigations in state and federal courts from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practiceRepresent clients and practice group with skill, ethics, and confidence before courts, mediators, and arbitratorsAbility to work both independently and in collaboration with practice group colleagues, clients, and other stakeholdersDevelop and implement strategies to achieve favorable and cost-effective resolutions for clients in both litigation and transactional mattersAbility to use creativity and flexibility to adapt to and succeed in difficult and changing circumstancesCommitment to serving the goals, needs, and priorities of clients and practice group teammatesEngage in marketing and networking opportunities to cultivate the practice group’s client baseThe expected salary range for this position is $185,000 – $225,000.The actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including (without limitation) the role for which the applicant is hired, the applicant’s qualifications, relevant experience and other certifications or professional licenses held.The anticipated salary range listed is just one component of CSG Law’s total compensation and benefits package which includes (but is not limited to) discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident, and disability insurance; health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts; and a 401(k) plan.We invite you to learn about our Surety & Fidelity team and firm at www.CSGlaw.com.
