Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Network Analyst to support and enhance the facility's LAN and related network systems. The role emphasizes installing, maintaining, and documenting network hardware and software while minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a GED, an Associate's degree in CS/IS or related field, and at least 1 year of IT experience; hospital experience is a plus. This is an on-site position with Piedmont Healthcare Corporate support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT experience with installation, implementation and maintenance of network equipment.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining stable operation of Piedmont Healthcare's computer network.
• Install, maintain, and document network hardware, software and links to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, resolve and document hardware/software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Provide end user training and support when required; ensure timely trouble ticket resolution.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with supporting the stable operation of the Piedmont Healthcare computer network in the facility to which they are assigned. The person will, with assistance, install, maintain, and document all network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime. The primary focus for the Network Analyst will be Local Area Networks (LAN) in the facility they are assigned. The person will also assist in the diagnosis, resolution and documentation of hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support where required. Trouble ticket resolution and documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of IT experience including hands‑on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of network equipment Required
• Previous experience in a hospital setting Preferred
