Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Level 2 Network Analyst in Mooresville, NC, to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of network systems. The role includes troubleshooting complex network issues and supporting junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for managing the entire network infrastructure of Duke Health, which entails installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices across various facilities. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of an associate's degree, CCNP certification, and 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in IT or related field is mandatory.
  • Experience with various network equipment brands is required.
  • At least 2 years in network installation or similar technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure network hardware including routers and switches.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues on-site and remotely.
  • Maintain records of installations and service calls.

Skills

CCNP certification (CCNA also accepted)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in network installation

Job description

As a Level 2 Network Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of our network infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security. You will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues, as well as providing guidance and support to junior team members. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in network architecture and contribute to the growth and stability of our IT infrastructure.

The Network Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of Duke Health's network infrastructure. This includes provisioning, installation, configuration, monitoring, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and daily support of network devices. The role focuses on supporting the enterprise network infrastructure across Duke Health’s hospitals, clinics, data centers, and research environments. Additionally, the analyst will participate in implementing network projects of various sizes at different Duke Health locations. You will work with a team of network professionals providing 24/7/365 on-call support, both remotely and on-site, which may involve night, holiday, and weekend work.

Must Haves
  • Minimum associates degree in a related IT Field
  • CCNP certification (CCNA also accepted)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in network installation or a related technical field.
  • Experience with various network equipment brands and configurations.
  • Proficient in the installation and configuration of network hardware.

Job Responsibilities
Installation & Setup
  • Install and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, modems, and wireless access points.
  • Retrieve hardware from warehouse and deliver hardware to installation locations. Run and terminate cables (e.g., Ethernet, fiber optic) according to industry standards.
  • Ensure all installations are performed to company standards and comply with safety regulations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Perform routine maintenance on network equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, both on-site and remotely.
  • Test network connections to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, service calls, and equipment inventory.
  • Report on installation progress and any issues encountered to the Network Manager.
  • Follow company protocols for handling and disposing of equipment.
Compliance & Safety
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry standards and best practices for network installations.
