We are working with a client within the healthcare sector who are looking to hire an experienced Network Administrator or Network Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise network environment.
CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA TO BE CONSIDERED.
This is a hands-on role focused on network infrastructure, security, cloud connectivity, and multi-site environments. The successful candidate will have strong experience across Cisco networking, Microsoft Azure networking, enterprise WAN/LAN environments, and network security, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise WAN/LAN and cloud network environments.
- Administer and configure Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and network security technologies.
- Support the migration of legacy networking, switching, and IPsec environments into Microsoft Azure.
- Lead and support network engineering projects from planning through deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Monitor network performance and security, identify risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and recommend improvements.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, security, and incident response initiatives.
- Manage IP address allocation across multi-site enterprise environments.
- Provide advanced technical support and assist with mentoring less experienced network team members.
- Support enterprise VoIP and unified communications, including Cisco CUCM, SIP, and Microsoft Teams Voice.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and wider IT teams to deliver reliable and secure network services.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of enterprise network administration or engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
- Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, IPsec, WAN/LAN, and multi‑site network architectures.
- Experience with enterprise network security, risk assessment, change management, and incident response.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred
- Experience within healthcare or other highly distributed enterprise environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, AZ-700, Network+, Security+, or equivalent.
- Experience with Cisco CUCM, SIP trunking, and Microsoft Teams Voice.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and hybrid network environments.
