Job summary

Peak Performers in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistive Technology Assistant to support a New Mexico state agency’s AT loan library. This onsite, temporary role focuses on organizing devices, assisting staff, and delivering outreach activities to empower people with disabilities.

The position requires tech savvy, data entry accuracy, and strong service orientation. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a pay rate of $26.50 per hour and a pre-employment background check.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency with computer databases and Microsoft software.
• Experience managing inventory including ordering, tracking, storing, and dispersing items.
• Excellent internal/external customer service and clear communication.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate standard office equipment.
• Prior experience with Assistive Technology or working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the physical and digital organization, maintenance, and sanitization of the Assistive Technology device and software loan library.
• Assist technical staff with equipment procurement, document tracking, inventory logging, and labeling new AT items.
• Maintain office supplies, recordkeeping systems, packaging stations, and related service equipment.
• Support the preparation and delivery of program activities, community events, and outreach initiatives.
