Job summary

Civitas Senior Living LLC is seeking an Assistant Wellness Director in Dripping Springs, TX to support residents’ daily living activities and promote independence under the Wellness Director. You will coordinate staff, oversee care plans, and ensure compliant, high-quality senior care.

Responsibilities include leading staff meetings, coordinating with vendors, and supervising EMAR processes while maintaining quality and regulatory standards. Flexible availability is valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Background in senior care, preferably wellness or medication management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within required time frames.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in various computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing and scheduling using staffing software; assist with recruitment and training.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans.
• Liaise with internal staff and external vendors for seamless care coordination.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and daily huddles to foster learning and collaboration.
• Manage service agreements, update physician orders, and maintain EMAR records.
• Perform weekly cart audits and MAR reviews; retrieve expired medications.
• Assist with incident reports and investigations to uphold best practices in senior care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assistant Wellness Director Job Profile: A Steward of Health and Wellness
