Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager to support cross dock operations, coordinate warehousing, and drive efficiency across materials, equipment, and staffing. The role includes liaising with customers, monitoring costs, and supporting sales efforts to meet company goals.

Supervisory responsibilities cover Team Leaders and Operations Supervisors. The position follows a Tuesday–Friday shift from 6am to 4:30pm, with responsibilities spanning safety, process improvement, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates distribution and warehousing in a cross dock operation.
• Confers with customers and associates to evaluate and promote services.
• Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
• Reviews costs to maintain profitable operation of divisions.
• Participates in marketing and sales efforts to meet company goals and objectives.
• Supervises warehouse positions including Team Leaders and Operations Supervisors.
• Reports food safety problems to authorized personnel for action.
