Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Cross Dock Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day cross-dock activities, ensure accurate labeling, and on-time delivery of goods. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and coordination with multiple departments to resolve issues and drive improvements.

You will supervise staff, analyze problems, and implement corrective actions while supporting GEODIS programs in Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Ethics and CSR.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a supervisor or in warehousing/manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems & MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Hazardous materials certification.
• TWIC certification and offshore experience preferred.
• Lean certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safe working environment and manage occupational risks in Cross Dock.
• Oversee cross dock policies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Recommend capacity, layout and staffing for the cross-dock area.
• Lead inbound quarantine resolutions and issue registrations.
• Supervise outbound load sheets and collaborate with the Operations team.
• Coordinate with Facility lead and other departments to resolve client/supply issues.
• Support Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability initiatives.
