We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Sales Director.

In this role, your responsibilities will include growing our business by pursuing new clients and managing the entire pursuit process from lead generation to contract signature.

Responsibilities
  1. Deal Origination: Responsible for expanding our business with new clients across various industries.
  2. Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape. Use insights to shape business development strategies.
  3. Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic focus.
  4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Units, Data-Tech-AI Function, and Commercial/Pricing teams to craft compelling proposals that communicate the value of our services.
  5. Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals timely while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  6. Sales Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities, including pipeline updates, client interactions, and sales metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Based in the US, UK, or EU and open to relocating to these regions.
  • Experience in client-facing engagements and building relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the services landscape focused on Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, or Financial Services, including market trends and client needs.
  • Proficiency with technology tools, platforms, and systems, and understanding of AI concepts and applications relevant to the industry.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and sales activities.
  • For Europe-based candidates, proficiency in one or more regional languages (German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, French) is required.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Prior experience in sales and/or consulting at Genpact.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital sales tools.

The approximate annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.

Note: Work-from-anywhere roles exclude candidates based in Los Angeles, California. Location-specific roles may have different eligibility criteria.
