Bridge Specialty Group in Clinton, MS, is seeking an Assistant Underwriter Garage to support the underwriting team. You will review applications, assist with renewals, inspections, and policy inquiries, while coordinating with agents and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years as an assistant underwriter (preferred).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all policy changes as requested by agents and insureds.
• Assist Underwriters with renewal processing and follow up with agents.
• Assist Underwriters with inspection review including follow-up with agents on hazards identified.
• Monitor policies for recommendation compliance.
• Communicate with agents and insureds to assist with basic policy questions.
• Liaison between various departments.
