Job summary

Bridge Specialty Group in Stockton, CA is seeking a Senior Underwriting Assistant – Garage to join our growing team. Under the guidance of the Internal Operations Leader, you will support underwriting activities and maintain integrity of underwriting practices.

Key duties include binding and invoicing policies, reviewing applications and binders, ensuring timely policy inspections, processing endorsements, auditing endorsements, and upholding underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar administrative support role.

Responsibilities

• Bind and invoice policies as required, ensuring binding subjectivities are complete.
• Review applications, quotes, and binders for accurate policy issuance.
• Ensure policy inspections are ordered in a timely manner.
• Process and invoice endorsements in carrier portals and management systems; provide endorsements and invoices to carriers and clients.
• Audit endorsements and resolve disputes with carriers and agents.
• Review inspections to ensure underwriting integrity and accurate classification per guidelines.
