Job summary

Bridge Specialty Group in Stockton, CA is seeking a Senior Underwriting Assistant - Garage to join our growing team. Under guidance of Internal Operations Leader, you will support underwriting functions, bind and invoice policies, and ensure timely inspections and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in administrative support, strong MS Office skills, and experience with garage accounts. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; or related education/experience.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar administrative support position.
• Preferred Associate or bachelor's degree in business or financial discipline.
• Experience supporting Garage (auto repair, dealerships, parking facilities) accounts.

Responsibilities

• Bind and invoice policies, ensuring binding subjectivities are completed and documented.
• Review applications, quotes, and binders to ensure proper documentation for issuing policies.
• Ensure policy inspections are ordered in a timely manner.
• Process and invoice endorsements in carrier portals and agency systems.
• Provide Endorsement and Invoice to carrier partners and clients promptly per SOP.
• Invoicing audit endorsements.
• Review audit disputes and communicate with carrier for discrepancies.
• Review policy inspections to ensure underwriting integrity and correct classification.
