Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Office-related technology skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in district-utilized software preferred, including, but not limited to eFinance Plus and Bonefish.
• Understanding of governmental accounting standards preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable
• Process/disburse purchase orders using the software adopted by the district
• Assist with input of purchase requisitions
• Maintain information for vendor 1099 processing
• Train and support building personnel with purchasing processes
• Inputs purchase requisitions for grants
• Oversee tuition, professional development, travel and mileage reimbursements
• Oversee ordering for the district and web-based ordering/payment (e.g., Amazon)
• Resolve accounts payable issues with vendors and district staff
• Ensure budget guidelines and purchase procedures follow Board Policy and ORC
