Job summary

Raley's is seeking an Assistant Team Leader who will help steer daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a hands-on approach to merchandising and safety.

You will coordinate shifts, support everyday transactions, and contribute to a positive, results-driven store environment. This is a full-time, in-store position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Friendly and customer service oriented.
• Must display exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service, grocery or related experience desired.
• Previous leadership experience desired.
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail, quality and presentation.
• Strong communication and ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and communicate with team members.
• Operate a register and accurately handle cash, cards, and change.
• Assist in merchandising and maintain store displays.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Maintain Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store.
• Develop future leaders within the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Work morning, midday, and night shifts as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
