Raley's is seeking an Assistant Deli Team Lead to support a fast-paced Deli/Bistro department. You will lead in training, focus on delivering superior customer service, and help achieve department goals while offering customers high-quality deli products.

The role involves directing staff in the Team Leader's absence, managing product prep, display, and safety, and ensuring adherence to merchandising and sanitation standards. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position within a retail store.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel in the Deli/Bistro when the Team Leader is absent and help meet department goals.
• Oversee the preparation, serving, and merchandising of deli/bistro items across breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings.
• Display and rotate deli merchandise following company guidelines and ensure shelf signage is correct.
• Monitor product quality, safety, pricing, and shrink, and maintain clean, orderly counters and prep areas.
• Ensure compliance with county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle receiving, invoicing, stocking, and storage organization for deli products.
