Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in store operations across California. This hands-on role involves coaching the team, managing daily tasks, scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

You will lead the store in the Team Leader’s absence, train staff, assist with inventory, and help drive sales while maintaining safety and compliance. 18+ with 6–9 months supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–9 months of assistant manager or related experience.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Retail, convenience, food service, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members; drive performance.
