Job summary

West Coast Convenience, parent of Loop Neighborhood Market, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in store operations across California. You will help lead the team, coach staff, and ensure consistent, high‑quality customer experiences every shift.

This hands-on leadership role requires you to work side by side with the team, manage scheduling and training, handle daily tasks with accuracy, step in for the Team Leader when needed, and uphold safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–9 months of assistant manager or related experience.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Retail, convenience, food service, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach team members to drive performance.
• Support daily operations for consistent execution and scheduling.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage; manage cash and paperwork.
• Support ordering, stocking, and merchandising to drive sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every shift and handle concerns.
• Follow company policies and safety standards; maintain a safe environment.
