Job summary

Babilou Family US in New Hampshire seeks an Assistant Teacher to support certified teachers, nurture development, and promote sustainable learning across our Little Sprouts network. You'll help implement daily lessons, maintain an organized, eco-minded classroom, supervise children, and engage families with sustainable communication and events.

All team members participate in Babilou Family Academy onboarding and ongoing professional development focused on safety, equity, and high-quality early

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standard.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain an organized, eco-minded classroom environment and sustainable routines.
• Supervise children during activities and meals, and report safeguarding concerns as required.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and participate in family events.
• Attend required trainings and collaborate with the teaching team to strengthen classroom practices.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
