Job summary

Babilou Family US in Nashua, NH, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Certified Teacher in delivering meaningful early learning in a safe, sustainable classroom.

This role emphasizes teamwork with families and colleagues, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to Sustainable Education®. Typical hours align with a year‑round, Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain an organized, environmentally responsible classroom in line with sustainable routines.
• Supervise children and document/report concerns in line with state requirements.
• Engage families and participate in sustainability-focused communications and events.
