Job summary

International Paper is seeking an Assistant Tank Integrity Coordinator at the Riverdale Mill in Selma, AL. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of fixed assets such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, and relief valves under the supervision of the Facility Tank Integrity Coordinator.

The candidate will assist in coordinating tank inspection tasks, review testing plans, and support contractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in NDT Testing Disciplines.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10 years of applicable NDT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing, coordinating, and supervising the tank inspection process.
• Support quality control by reviewing testing plans and reports.
• Coordinate inspection tasks with operations to avoid conflicts with production schedules.
• Interpret testing procedures and align with API standards where applicable.
• Assist in defining and executing repair scopes.
• Be willing to support a 24/7 operation when needed.
