the RAYS Assistant Swim Coach is a Part-time, on-site role based in Southington, CT. This role supports the lead coaches in planning and delivering swim practices that develop skills, endurance, and confidence for swimmers 13 years old and older. Day-to-day responsibilities include instructing swimmers in proper technique, assisting with warm-ups and drills, monitoring safety in and around the pool, and reinforcing team standards and positive sportsmanship. The Assistant Swim Coach helps organize practices and meets, communicates with caregivers and participants, and collaborates with aquatics and lifeguard staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment. The role may also assist with swimmer evaluations, registration, and basic recordkeeping related to attendance and performance.
Flexible evenings and required to work weekends.
