Job summary

YMCA in Fairless Hills, PA, is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to work with young athletes. As a part-time role, this position offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Ideal candidates are passionate about swimming and coaching, have participated in competitive swimming, and possess the skills to inspire children aged 7-18. Lifesaving certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Participant in competitive swimming as a student-athlete.
• Experience working with children ages 7-18.

Assistant Swim Coach

Fairless Hills, Pa | Part Time, Hourly | $15-$20 per hour

Passionate about coaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 18+ to serve as an Assistant Swim Coach. As an Assistant Swim Coach, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!

What is needed for this job as our Assistant Swim Coach:

• 18+ years of age
• Participated in competitive Swimming as a student-athlete
• Worked with children ranging in ages 7-18, as either a coach or educator
• Can be a positive role model for our swimmers
• Obtain lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen) - training provided

• Ability to relate to young student-athletes in the sport of swimming
• Have a knowledge of competitive swimming
• Ability to listen to student-athletes and be an encouraging role model
