Job summary

River-Crossing-Ymca in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to support our youth programs. This part-time, hourly role offers hands-on coaching, a chance to develop leadership and teamwork, and the joy of helping young swimmers grow in a supportive, non-profit environment.

As an Assistant Swim Coach, you will work with student-athletes aged 7–18, relay safety guidance, and collaborate with the YMCA team to deliver engaging practices.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Participated in competitive swimming as a student-athlete.
• Experience working with children aged 7–18 as coach or educator.
• Lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED) training provided.
• Positive role model for swimmers.

Responsibilities

Passionate about coaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 18+ to serve as an Assistant Swim Coach. As an Assistant Swim Coach, you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!

What is needed for this job as our Assistant Swim Coach:

• 18+ years of age
• Participated in competitive Swimming as a student-athlete
Worked with children ranging in ages 7-18, as either a coach or educator
• Can be a positive role model for our swimmers
• Obtain lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen) - training provided

• Ability to relate to young student-athletes in the sport of swimming
• Have a knowledge of competitive swimming
