Job summary

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a team of Ambassadors and deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

You will supervise, train and counsel staff in areas such as Parking Lot, Ticketing, Turnstiles and Check-In, while tracking labor and ensuring safety and compliance with park policies. This role requires flexible hours, outdoor work, and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ days of unrestricted availability during peak season, with one weekend day and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification.
• Ability to be certified on all attractions.
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Ambassadors in Guest Arrival areas.
• Supervise, schedule labor, track daily scheduling and breaks.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and animals.
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and park policies.
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers.

Help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You'll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with.

Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up! You will supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors and perform the job duties you're supervising in Guest Arrival areas such as:

• Parking Lot
• Ticketing
• Turnstiles
• Reservation Check-In Area
• Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Create and maintain team rotation grid
• Respond to guest and team member needs
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers
• Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedure

What it takes to succeed:

• During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• During the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• At least 18 years old
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification
• Ability to be certified on all attractions
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
• Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems
• Ability to train on and use protective gear
• Flexibility in working varied hours
• Related Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous leadership experience highly desirable
