Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando seeks a dynamic supervisor to lead Ambassadors in Guest Arrival areas, manage scheduling, and uphold safety and guest service standards.

You will train and coach team members, ensure cash handling procedures, and maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment for guests year-round.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience and ability to supervise a team.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid state driver’s license.
• CPR/AED training/certification required.
• Willingness to work outdoors, holidays, and varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver guest experiences from the start.
• Model top service standards and foster a positive atmosphere.
• Supervise, train, and coach Ambassadors in Guest Arrival areas.
• Track labor, scheduling, and break management.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.
• Develop team members through training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Create and maintain team rotation grid.
• Respond to guest and team member needs.
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers.
• Ensure strict adherence to cash handling procedures.

What you get to do:

• Help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go.
• You’ll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with.

• You will supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors and perform the job duties you’re supervising in Guest Arrival areas such as: Parking Lot Ticketing Turnstiles Reservation Check-In Area
• Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Create and maintain team rotation grid
• Respond to guest and team member needs
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers
• Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedure

What it takes to succeed:

• During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• During the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
• At least 18 years old
• Valid state driver’s license
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification
• Ability to be certified on all attractions
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
• Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems
• Ability to train on and use protective gear
• Flexibility in working varied hours
• Related Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous leadership experience highly desirable
