Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience in the field for a general contractor.
• Multifamily, residential, or large-scale commercial construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, and sequencing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing construction activities, keeping schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Oversee daily site operations, coordinate workers, materials, equipment, and ensure adherence to specs and budget.
• Read blueprints, codes, and project scheduling.
• Ensure onsite personnel comply with procedures, safety programs, requirements, and work rules.
• Address risk management proactively and respond to issues.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure timely completion and resolve delays.
• Collaborate with the project team to remove obstacles.
• Conduct regular inspections for quality, schedule, and safety compliance.
• Report to the Superintendent on project status and issues affecting client relations.
