Job summary

Cranshaw Construction seeks an Assistant Superintendent for multi-family residential projects in the Greater Boston area. You will support the lead superintendent, supervise on-site activities, and help ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years on commercial builds over $20M in city environments, a bachelor’s in a related field, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project. Cranshaw offers a strong team culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facilities management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience on commercial construction projects over $20M in multi-family residential sector.
• Experience with Procore or similar PM software, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead superintendent and project team with safety programs.
• Identify and correct site safety hazards.
• Support NFPA-241, Emergency Action Plans, and other safety/logistics plans.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, including three-week look-ahead.
• Manage subcontractor performance, quality, productivity, and safety.
• Assist in managing project documentation and reporting.
