Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience in the field for a general contractor.
• Multifamily, residential, or large-scale commercial construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, and sequencing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in coordinating all site construction activities and supervising field personnel.
• Oversee daily operations at the construction site, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment within schedule and budget.
• Read and understand blueprints, building codes, and project scheduling.
• Ensure onsite personnel comply with project procedures and safety programs.
• Address risk management issues with proactive strategies.
• Manage subcontractors and address issues or delays.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve obstacles and issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Report project status and issues to the Superintendent.
