Job summary

Clayco is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our on-site team on nationwide design-build projects. You will oversee field operations, coordinate logistics, and ensure safety and quality, reporting to the Project Manager.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent, 0–5 years in technical commercial construction, and willingness to travel or relocate. Travel is expected; the position offers growth toward a Superintendent role.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years in technical commercial/industrial construction management.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project team to assure adequate resources.
• Supervise construction employees and subcontractors within budget and schedule.
• Maintain strong safety and quality records on site.
• On-site supervision of daily workload, tools, and reporting to PM/ Superintendent.
• Assist in planning and oversight of manpower, permits, and materials.
