BLHI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Sr. Project Superintendent in day-to-day supervision of field construction activities.

You will enforce safety policies, direct craft personnel and subcontractors, schedule work, and ensure compliance with the contract scope and quality. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, maintaining QC/QA files, attending progress meetings, and helping resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Formación

• 1-3 years’ experience as an assistant superintendent with total construction experience
• Experience in construction management, commercial/hospitality, buildings and infrastructure
• Degree in Construction Management, engineering, or comparable degree
• Experience managing project budgets, developing and maintaining schedules, and owner relationships
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be open to relocation

Responsabilidades

• Ensure projects are performed to contractual and quality standards and up to code
• Schedule and direct daily activities and ensure cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality
• Develop, procure, and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Maintain daily paperwork (timecards, field reports, schedule updates, emails)
• Implement incremental project schedules to keep events on track
• Promote and maintain BLHI’s cultural principles
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings
• Monitor staffing needs, evaluate performance, address employee relations as needed
