Job summary

Callahan Construction Managers in Boston, MA seeks an Assistant Superintendent I to support the Lead Superintendent on all aspects of the project, with responsibility for safety, QA/QC, subcontractor management, document control, scheduling and project management throughout the full project cycle.

You will direct day‑to‑day field work, enforce safety protocols, coordinate subcontractors and inspections, maintain documentation, track progress, and ensure the project is completed on time and

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety with all site personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate QA/QC activities and track field inspections
• Manage subcontractor relations, site access, and daily reports
• Maintain field document control: plans, RFIs, shop drawings, safety docs
• Plan and track 3‑week look ahead and overall schedule
• Communicate with Lead Superintendent and foster team relations
• Provide project management support and ensure on-time delivery
