Job summary

Bryan Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and supervising all construction project activities. You will help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project schedule, drawings, and specifications.

As a field leader, you will coordinate subcontractors, uphold high standards for day-to-day onsite operations, and serve as backup to the Superintendent when appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous field construction experience
• Supervisory experience overseeing trades
• Experience partnering with subcontractors
• OSHA 10 certification

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Carpenters and Laborers, providing training on SOPs.
• Support project start-up activities by procuring materials and enabling site access.
• Support the RFI process and coordinate information to the field.
• Assist the Superintendent with tasks and serve as backup when appropriate.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure work per plan and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day workflow and schedule.
• Oversee site safety and lead safety meetings.
• Create/manage look-ahead schedules and assist master schedule oversight.
• Attend project meetings and ensure clear communications across teams.
• Maintain the site logistics plan and ensure access/badging.
• Conduct daily reports documenting manpower, progress, and delays.
