Job summary

B.L. Harbert International, LLC is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field construction supervision, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate craft personnel and subcontractors according to contract documents.

The role involves monitoring progress, managing permits and inspections, maintaining QC/QA files, updating as-built drawings, and participating in progress meetings while upholding BLHI values.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a project superintendent with 15 years of total construction experience.
• Experience in construction management, commercial/hospitality, buildings and infrastructure.
• Experience managing project budgets, developing and maintaining schedules, and owner relationships.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be open to relocation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards and up to code.
• Schedule and direct daily activities to meet project objectives for cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality and process.
• Develop, procure, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain daily paperwork: timecards, field reports, schedule updates, and emails to keep stakeholders informed.
• Implement incremental project schedules to keep upcoming events on track.
• Promote and maintain a culture aligned with BLHI values.
• Attend pre-construction, progress and other project staff meetings.
• Monitor staffing needs, evaluate performance, and address employee relations for field staff.
