Job summary

EdgeHill Integrated Systems is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and field team with daily jobsite activities. You will learn planning, scheduling, drawing reviews, quality control, and subcontractor coordination while contributing to a safe, productive project environment.

This role emphasizes coordination across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing scopes, with emphasis on safety, startup/setup, plan reviews, progress and compliance reporting, and closeout

Qualifications

• A high school degree/GED is required.
• Commercial/Multi-Family Electrical Construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY: Models safety as a core guiding principle & brings concerns to the attention of the Superintendent.
• STARTUP: Coordinates with Superintendent to ensure proper jobsite setup.
• DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT: Learns how to perform detailed plan reviews and stays ahead of RFIs and future coordination issues.
• SCHEDULING: Learns/assists in planning the project; assists in sequencing and relationships; communicates schedule issues with photos and written notes.
• QUALITY CONTROL: Ensures all installed material is per specs and construction documents.
• CLOSEOUT: Drives project closeout and owner turnover.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Commercial/Multi-Family Electrical Construction experience preferred
