Job summary

EdgeHill Integrated Systems seeks an Electrical Field Superintendent to lead field management on complex projects, using our standards and processes to meet plans, schedules, and quality expectations with professionalism.

You will collaborate with subcontractors and General contractors, mentor junior staff, and ensure all work adheres to drawings and specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• A.S Degree in electrical related program preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years related construction experience.
• Proven track record as a team player and an effective leader on the jobsite.
• Mentor & teacher and strong communication skills are important.
• Ability to maintain organization and focus under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Leads and implements EdgeHill's safety standards.
• Verifies project housekeeping is being done
• Leads communication with project teams and subcontractors to coordinate day-to-day jobsite logistics
• Leads project startup requirements for field team
• Fully understands drawing and specifications of the project to be able to be knowledgeable of details of project
• Assists in reviewing project documents to stay ahead of RFI's and future coordination issues
• Assists in daily reports, progress reports, and compliance reports
• Assists in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule
• Proactively identify problems and implement solutions in time to maintain workflow
• Leads the project in ensuring all installed material is per specifications and submittals
• Leads project team in internal inspections/QC walks
• Creates, reviews, and closes out quality control observations and punch lists
• Leads team in project closeout and owner turnover
• Understands Edgehill’s policy and processes
• Mentors and trains assistant supers and field engineers
• Develop and maintain material logs for jobsite materials purchased by Edgehill
• Use of hand tools could be required
