Job summary

The Chichester School District is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to provide district-wide leadership in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. You will support student learning and behavioral supports while developing staff through management and coaching.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required; Doctorate preferred in school administration and/or curriculum and instruction
• PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility required or near completion; Administrative II and/or Instructional II certification preferred
• 8–10 years of educational experience with at least 3 years in K-12 leadership
• Experience with diverse student subgroups and equity initiatives
• Experience implementing programs in teaching/learning, assessment, and professional development
• Experience supervising and mentoring direct reports; data-informed decision making
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech; collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Clearances: Acts 34, 114, and 151

Responsibilities

• Direct articulation of curriculum and instruction across K–12
• Lead creation/design of curricular and extracurricular programs and monitor efficacy
• Develop strategies for learning models, assessment design, and technology-enabled learning
• Coordinate with central office and buildings to maximize educational technologies
• Supervise over directors and principals; coach and develop staff
• Oversee budgets and reporting for teaching, learning, and student services
• Collaborate with Superintendent and HR to implement ACT 93 requirements
• Communicate with the Board and community; participate in district leadership team
• Support equity and community engagement initiatives
