Job summary

Ulta Beauty in California is seeking an Assistant Stylist, a temporary role designed to prepare talent for a stylist position. You will engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services while mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist.

During months 4–6 you will begin servicing guests of your own, perform hair services, demonstrate products, and participate in in-store events. A passion for beauty and exceptional guest service is required.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting store goals.
• Support mentor Stylist in achieving sales and productivity targets for hair services and products.
• After month three, perform hair services and demonstrate products to guests.
• Assist with in-store events, promotions, and guest experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across salon and sales floors.
