Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, assist customers, and develop the team on the sales floor. The role emphasizes merchandising, stockroom organization, and adherence to company policies.

You will support in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring a positive, safe environment for customers and associates. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and customer service.
• Oversee merchandising and transfers from stockroom to sales floor.
• Assist opening and closing procedures and payroll/scheduling tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and secure assets, including cash handling.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Ensure friendly, safe, and professional interactions with customers and staff.
