GPM Investments’ Dixie Mart in Louisiana is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, handle registers, and coach a team across second and third shifts. You’ll lead customer service, scheduling, and inventory while ensuring a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Comfortable with cleaning tasks and restocking duties.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Proficient English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to store operations.
• Certification in Food Safety or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock.
• Maintain a clean store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, overseeing store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
